Help your neighbors in Toledo and surrounding areas today and in the future.
Gift planning can provide a wonderful way to support Mobile Meals of Toledo’s mission, provide financial benefits for you and your family, and leave a lasting impact on homebound seniors, veterans, and disabled people in our community.
If you want to make a gift to Mobile Meals, there are several ways to do it.
Gift of Cash or Securities: You can give cash, securities, or pledge a gift over a set period of time. If you give appreciated stocks or bonds, you can avoid capital gains taxes, get an income-tax deduction, and possibly save on estate taxes.
Pledged Gifts: Donors often find that by pledging their gift over a set period of time, they are able to make a more substantial contribution.
Bequests: If you want to donate to Mobile Meals after your passing, you can leave us a charitable bequest in your will or living trust. This can help reduce federal estate taxes and state inheritance taxes while also leaving a lasting legacy.
Gift of Retirement Assets: If you have retirement assets, you can designate all or a portion of them as a charitable bequest to Mobile Meals, which can reduce taxes and benefit our organization.
Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA): This option is for those who want to be philanthropic while still receiving an income. The CGA transfers an asset to Mobile Meals, and in return, donors receive payments every year for the duration of the contract.
Corporate Matching Gifts: This is another way to increase your donation. Some companies match charitable donations to certain types of organizations, such as Mobile Meals. Check with your human resources department to see if your company provides this benefit.
