The demand for services is growing as the Baby Boomer generation gets older and faces more complex needs. As a result, Lucas County voters are being asked this November to support a RENEWAL of the current 0.75 mil senior services levy with a small 0.25 mil increase to cover the increasing demand for services.
The revenue from this levy is vital to our older population:
• Supports ALZHEIMER’S CARE programs
• Funds HOME CARE services
• Sponsors SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAMS, like Mobile Meals
• It is the funding source for SENIOR CENTERS and SENIOR SERVICES that improve the quality of life for both homebound and active seniors
At Mobile Meals of Toledo, the Senior Services Levy currently supports 200+ area seniors to help us fulfill our mission to help our clients sustain their independence and enhance their quality of life by delivering nutritious food.
