Mobile Meals of Toledo is closely monitoring communications from local, state, and national agencies regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

At the Centers for Disease Control and the Ohio Governor’s Office’s advice, our offices are currently closed to the public to prevent spreading the coronavirus. You may reach our staff by phone at 419-255-7806 or online at

The health and safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers are a top priority for us. We are still delivering meals, but we have taken precautions to reduce exposure for clients and volunteers. We are also procuring two weeks of shelf-stable meals for our clients to have on hand should there be a need to suspend deliveries during this unprecedented situation.

Our kitchen staff continues to exceed all health and safety regulations for food service and preparation. We are working tirelessly to continue providing healthy and nutritious meals for our clients. We appreciate our clients’ flexibility with changes in meal selection and delivery schedules. We also value our volunteers and the community-at-large for all of their support during these unique times. Mobile Meals must adapt to the situation as it changes while remaining focused on delivering nutritious and delicious meals. We want to ensure that our clients can stay safely within their homes and away from the virus.

Mobile Meals has temporarily switched to a twice-weekly delivery schedule. We will deliver meals on Tuesdays and Fridays. On Tuesday, clients will receive meals for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Friday, clients will receive meals for Friday, the weekend, and Monday. This schedule limits the contact volunteers and clients have with each other. We will still be calling and checking on clients regularly.
